As a community steward concerned for our neighbours and environment, Perth’s has a long history of green initiatives. We don’t just talk about it – we research it, test it and do it. In 2006, we were recognized as a green dry cleaner by the Canadian Center for Pollution Prevention.

Our environmentally friendly practices include the Envirobag reusable nylon bag program. The bag is designed for convenience and to help protect our environment by reducing the use of plastic poly. This bag will be reused for every order you drop off or pick up at Perth’s. We also encourage customers to recycle by donating their used hangers, which we will then re-use at our Main processing plant.

By simply bringing your items to Perth’s you are using a professional service over home washing which means significantly less water and energy are used per pound of cleaning. We use advanced, non-hazardous hydrocarbon cleaners and phosphate-free soaps and make every effort to optimize machine configurations, load sizes and automated formulas to use the least amount of energy.
